Dr. Jag Gill graduated from the University of Bradford in England. His Preregistration year was in Bradford and he completed his hospital training at the Bradford and Halifax Royal Infirmaries. After completing his Professional Qualifying Exams, he achieved certification and became a member of the British College of Optometrists in 1993. In 1995 Dr. Gill decided to further study his chosen field, this time at the New England College of Optometry in Boston where he graduated in 1997. He concurrently completed his American National Board of Examiners in Optometry and Canadian Standards Assessment in Optometry. Together, he has certification to practice in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
Dr. Kuv Gill graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 1999. His training was at Boston area hospitals where he gained a wealth of experience in treating and managing eye disease. After concurrently completing the American National Board of Examiners in Optometry and the Canadian Standards Assessment in Optometry, Dr. Kuv Gill remained in New York State to increase his scope of experience in prescribing medications for eye conditions. One of Dr Kuv Gill's most memorable times was when he had a unique opportunity to join 12 fellow classmates from New England, on an unforgettable volunteer mission to Mexico to help provide over 2500 eye exams and 2000 donated eyeglasses to local underprivileged villagers. Dr. Kuv Gill has also been a Canadian National Boards Examiner, ensuring competence standards are being met for new graduates in the profession.
Dr. Jain graduated as a Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. She has helped patients of all ages in various clinical, hospital, and institutional settings across North America. Dr. Jain had the opportunity to intern at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Togus, Maine where she focused on providing compassionate care to war veterans with an emphasis on diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, cataract, and macular degeneration. In 2010, after qualifying as practitioner in the United States, Dr. Jain returned to the Greater Toronto Area to serve the community she grew up in. Dr. Jain is committed to the use of current medical advancements in her practice of primary optometric care
Dr. Julia Baltais graduated from the New England College of Optometry in May 2012. She completed her fourth year internships in various eye health settings in New England, and Miami. She had the opportunity to be mentored by doctors specializing in community based healthcare in urban settings, veteran’s hospitals, family eye care and eye disease and cataract surgery. Dr Julia Baltais has been trained with a strong focus on pharmacology and the newest technologies available to optometrists. Julia first met Drs J and K Gill while she was completing her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Guelph and working in their practice. It was through this experience that she ultimately decided on the New England College of Optometry as her preferred school of study. Julia still lives in Guelph with her husband and two cats
